The quality in Scandinavia is very high compared to many other countries. Lots of top artists were working in Scandinavia this year. Almost top artists everywhere and nice performances made a fantastic impression for the spectators.

Circus Arena (Denmark)

Very nice performance. Best was Flying Neves (flying trapeze), Xelo – the outstanding Diablo player, Claudia Bremlov (Antipode) and Sonni Frankello with his African elephants. Circus Arena made a different performance with a mix of very modern acts and traditional acts.

Circus Merano (Norway)

As always high quality in Knut Dahls wonderful tent. Best were Ingo Steibner and his sea lion act, Kosikevs (Perch) with a very different act and the reprise clown Christian.

Circus Arnardo (Norway).

If you say Arnardo this year you say Fumagalli. This wondefull Italian clown and his brother Darix could make a performance alone. Very nice performance.

Circus Agora (Norway)

The highlight in this performance was absolutely trio Trio Csaszar with their outstanding spring board act and the Swedish trick riders –The Kosowiiks.

Circus Maximum (Sweden)

As always a nice performance from Maximum. An accident occurred late in the season where an artist from Trio N'dux died. It was not a special dangerous act but it went wrong some how anyway. Louis Knie jr. left the circus in the middle of the season and Maximum had to find another to perform the horses and the elephants. The high lights were Michells clowns doing a very traditional clown entrée. Sergé Percelly, son of the famous white face clown –Bruno (The Chickys) doing a very impressive juggling act..

Circus Olympia (Sweden)

If there is something circus Olympia should be proud of, it is their horses. I just love circus Olympia for their horse acts. Extremely nice, smooth and beautiful. This year Jesicca Bengtsson was back in daddys circus performing the "big and small" horse act. If any body should be interested it is possible to buy all their performances on VHS tapes. Circus Benneweis (Denmark).

The grand old lady in Denmark –circus Benneweis did a very nice season. Only top artists in this 2004 season. The program was changed together by the Frence reprise clown "Francesco" He is a nice clown but he was in the ring far too much. The performance was to short but the artists was absolutely top class. Best this year was the fantastic high wire artists "Los Quiros" and the very charming "Mr. Dalmatin" with his ponies and dogs.

Circus Finlandia (Finland)

The only circus in Finland is always top class. Lot of nice artists in this circus. My favourite this year was absolutely the fire eating man "Anatolia" He just swallows litres of plane fuel and just spitting the whole ting out in an inferno of fire. Maybe not political correct showing thousands of kids how to play with fire but it is extreme and just fascinating. Rossi Hochegger and her Pippi long stocking act is just nice. The relationship to her horse is very charming

Circus Baldoni (Denmark).

Circus Baldoni is fun. This was the third season for this small circus and the best season as well. The absolutely best act was the African "Mombasa boys" Lost of those acts in circus around Europe at the moment but director René Marvin managed to find the best of it kind.

Circus Arli (Denmark).

The small family circus Arli with long traditions in the small towns far away from their bigger brothers, did as usual a small but very entertaining performance. The kids love this circus and I can understand why. Martin Arlis ventriloquist act are absolutely funny and in the performance there are 3 generations from the Arli family. Alexander Arli seems to be a very nice artist with a great future in the circus world.

Circus Dannebrog (Denmark).

One of the three big circuses in Denmark. I saw the first performance in the season and I was a little hard in my judgement. Later in the season I visited the circus again and what a difference. Much much better and very entertaining performance this time. Best was Freddi Steckel with his funny table act and the two handstand artists Yin and Lin.

Circus Charlie (Denmark).

For the first time ever I saw this small circus. It is mainly for kids but adults can see this circus and be well entertained too. The director Einar Trige call his performance the circus without names. Mr Trige himself is in the ring several times under the performance and he is doing very well. This year he had hired a very famous (in Denmark) pop duo to entertain in and between the acts and it worked. The reprise clowns "Red and Blue" was very nice and did a very nice job.

Circus Mascot (Denmark)

I have not seen circus Mascot this season but I was told that the clown Gulio should be very funny. I saw Gulio in the Swedish circus Olympia a few years ago and I agree that he is absolutely funny.

Circus Krone (Denmark).

I have not seen circus Krone but I hope to visit this small and nice circus in the 2005 season.

Circus Wictoria (Sweden).

I have not seen this circus either but I know a lot of the acts in this circus. Vicky and the cats/duo Victoria are high quality. Mageretha Remi are a very nice act too.

Circus Brazil Jack (Sweden).

I have not seen Brazil Jack this year.

Circus Scott (Sweden).

Circus Scott was not on tour in 2004.
