Jorgen Lorenzens Clown film

Jorgen Lorenzen and his clown film –Between tears and laugher – was presented for the public thuesday 21th January. The film is a short film 20 min. and tells a short story about the clowns in circus. The presentation started with a small talk by Jorgen Lorentzen, telling his sight on different trends in clowning.

The film was okay but nothing special and only concentrating around two clowns. Soren Arli from circus Arli and the Dubskys, which don’t, exist anymore. It’s a nice but a small film. After the film there was a little discussion and debate about clowns in the future and different kinds of clowns. A few in the audience had the opinion that clowns are for adults and not for kids and the younger generation are scared for those noisy fellows.
