The Dane in the fast lane is what Kim Kenneth Nilsson calls him self. Kim Kenneth has reached world class in just a few years. With engagements around in Europe, from Austria, Germany, Denmark, England Switzerland anyone wants kim. He speaks German, English and of cause Danish perfectly. That gives him the opportunity to become the elegant ringmaster as well a job he delivers perfectly at the moment in Circus Althoff Jacobi in Austria.

Kim is born in Copenhagen – Denmark in January 19^th 1966. His childhood was in Virum a suburb to Copenhagen. His Father, Ben Cardy was a part time manipulator, so it was here the interest for Illusions started. In a age of only six years he was already a serious magician and his first really performance was on a Hotel ship in Copenhagen. This performance gave him a membership in "Magic ring" an honour only given to really talents. Kim was the youngest member ever seen in this "brotherhood".

Kims dreams was to become a world class illusionist. All kids have dreams but it is very rare that an "outsider" will gain success in the circus world. Because of that kim started his education as a trade and office worker. When he had finished his education he became employed in a firm called Bondo and Graversen.

Kim was still working hard as a semi professional in the weekends and holidays. His show was developed to something really nice and in 1989 there was a guy who saw his show. The Guy was Haddie Enoch – Director from the Danish circus Dannebrog. He gave Kim a chance that should change his life. In the season 1989 kim was signed for Circus Dannebrogs summer tour. Kim Kenneths first performance in a real circus was March 22^nd. In Kolding – Denmark.

Kim was a success and his performance was taped on video. This material was sent to most circuses in Europe, just as many artists do today. His dreams came through because a lady in Austria – Effi Althoff-Jacobi – Director for the big circus Althoff Jacobi saw the video and in the summer season 1990 kim was signed in Austria. This was the start to a real success. Althoff Jacobi was a very respected circus in Europe and it was no more a problem for Kim to get work.

In the season 91 and 92 Kim was signed to an amusement Park in England. Chessington world of inventiors was the park that opened the doors to England but it was Circus Barum in Germany who secured Kims season 1993. His first German tour was a huge success and he developed new tricks to do his show even better. The summer season 1994 was again an amusement park – Niglo land in France.

Kim meets a girl – Patricia who became Kims assistant. Patricia Torres was from a well-known circus family in Holland. After a short period Patricia was not only his assistant but also his girlfriend. In the seasons 1996,97 and 98 Kim works for the biggest circus in Denmark – Circus Arena on their summer tours. Patricia and Kim get a son – Damion and in the season 1999 they are signed in the British circus Billy Smart.

In the season 2001 kim are signed to the famous circus Charles Knie and 2002 summer tour it is circus Nock in Switzerland witch have the pleasure. A divorce hits the family and patricia leaves kim. Patricia and Damion returnes to Holland to live a civilian life. Kim Needs a new partner for his show and contacts LeeAnn that he knows from a dance troupe. She knows about circus because she has been in circus Arena a few years earlier in the circus ballet. LeeAnn and kim are together for the first time in circus Effi Althoff Jacobi for the 2003 summer tour.

In the future it is Circus Billy Smart in England, kim is signed too for a nine months tour, starting March 1^st. until November 25^th. 2004.

There are not many holidays for Kim, he works really hard. Between the tours with the circus around Europe kim works for different Night clubs, varieties and Christmas circuses. He has been in Le Mans Christmas circus, Amiens, Lille , Wimzomer Appeldoorn in Holland, Eindhoven Christmas, Martin Hanssons winter circus, Hansa Star club, Moulin Rouge, Cirque edú catif in France. One of the greatests adventures Kim can remeber is his to months engagements in the Arabian Emirates. It was so fantastic and I was treated like Michael Jackson –tells Kim to Circus Scandinavia.

In the future we hope that kim will give us the pleasure to perform in Scandinavia again but as it looks now it could take a few years before there is space in the calendar.
