A few people in the circus business and a few claming to be in the business (Hangers) are absolutely not satisfied with everything on this web. I’m 100% aware that the circus Directors not are thrilled about bad reviews but that they are so afraid and some of them so blind that they can’t see realistic on their own business is a surprise. What have they expected? That the problems with poor or no service at all just disappears if we so called "Amateurs" just keep our mouth shout – No I don’t think so. And please correct me if I’m wrong - but why should the spectators not see the same as I do, that there in some circus are things there should be corrected. It cost absolutely nothing to give the spectators a smile and some friendly words but when I write those things they become very offended. Funny because if it was my business I would be very satisfied if my costumers told me that something was wrong and I would immediately take a look at the problem.

In many years I was playing in a well-known Danish Rock band, touring around on big summer festivals. Before those tours we asked hundreds of our "fans" and maybe most important some people not directly involved with our music to give us so much critic (good and bad) that they ever could imagine. Absolutely nothing was put away. After this session we had a discussion –the band and the people around us, to take a closer look at the answers. We did learn a lot of those people and our business became more and more adapted to our audience and their wishes, our customers – the people who paid for our houses. That’s absolutely common in business today but absolutely not in some circus. (not all and a big apology to some directors).

But the worst is the hang arounds with no opinion at all because they have to satisfy different directors – the clever guys with all the right answers – looking at Outsiders like me as stupid and ignorant – Please 99% of the people in circus are ignorants – the spectators, the most important part of a circus – the people who pays for everything don’t call them for stupid.

At last: If you don’t like the bread from your baker please tell him, because that’s his only chance to survive and change things in time - the same words fits perfectly to circus - So please all your clever hang arounds do something about it be honest.
