Lots of small video clips
When circus Scandinavia is on tour they always bring a professional photo equipment to give you the best possible pictures for this page but we also bring a normal digital video camera. It is rare that we use the video clips on Circus Scandinavia cause video use a lot of space on the server. Circus Scandinavia uses more than 100 megabyte space without the video clips and with those few already there the use of megabytes increase with 25. When the clips are on the page it is put out as streaming video and use windows media player, the most satisfying solution when you look at the quality and the space on the server. Server space cost money and especially when you want a reliable supplier, where you are sure that everything is working right 24 hours a day. In the other hand it a shame not to use a wonderful opportunity as the video. Therefore Circus Scandinavia has decided to expand the server space from 150 megabyte to 300 megabyte. That means there is space for 4 video clips in this months issue of circus Scandinavia Benneweis and Baldoni both from Denmark and Circus Arnardo and Merano from Norway.
All clips are cut down to a few minutes and as told in Windows media player streaming video. The original video is in a very high quality but brought down to fit most ADSL broadband. On a later time it will be possible to buy the Videos on DVD format in full length and quality.
Lots of mails concerning to put up a page where it is possible to buy, exchange and sell circus related items. There has been such a page on Circus Scandinavia but over the summer it will be rebuild and I hope it will be full of programs, posters and other circus stuff.
Circus Scandinavia is going to Germany and hopefully see more than one circus in May. Circus Roncalli and circus Fligenpilz are both in Hamburg at the same time and gives us Scandinavian a great opportunity to see two of the best German circuses. Circus Scandinavia will be there from May 20th. and will release a full review from Roncalli in the late May.
